stupid, stupid, stupid pitch This guy has hit the ball incredible today, why give a strike on that 3 and 0 pitch, AWFUL PITCHING THERE BY FISTER.
This is typical Fister. 2 to 3 runs allowed. He's done his job, offense just can't figure out Kennedy again.
NO, you walk the guy but don't throw a strike in the middle of the plate. This guy is hitting Fister hard today.
Kennedy is over 100 pitches, so that is good news. The bad news is the Royals starters are garbage, while their bullpen is dominating.
Welp. Hinch does have this problem with sticking with starters for too long... hurts, especially when the bullpen is rested.
Oh well. 2 out of 3 was at least what the Astros wanted to accomplish. Sweep with how hot the Royals were at home was asking for a lot.
This isn't a Hinch problem today. Fister had been dominating this lineup. He should've had the bullpen ready, but there's no reason he should've pulled him before this inning. And after 3-0 HR by Kendrys, I can understand keeping him in.
Fister is not a deep in the game type of pitcher. Offenses after a while catch up to his stuff. If the team had scored some more runs and been ahead a few runs, probably would have seen bullpen in by now.
