Talk about the series here. Please no PBP in this thread. Unless otherwise noted all games are on CSN-H (for about 40% I guess).

5-28 Erik Bedard, LHP vs. Tyler Chatwood, RHP 7:40

5-29 Lucas Harrell, RHP vs. Juan Nicasio, RHP 7:40

Woohoo, another rivalry game! In all seriousness, I may actually go to a sports bar to watch it since it will be played in an NL stadium.:(

I've watched one game all season, opening night. The only ones suffering from all this comcast crap are the fans.

The Astros are the first team to allow 300 runs this season. They are also the first team to have a triple-digit run differential. Obviously, it's -100.

My biggest pet peeve with MMP right now is the love fest with Altuve. It's not that he isn't a good player, because he is... but he was applauded on Monday and Tuesday after two braindead mistakes. Trying to stretch a double into a triple Monday (tie game with none out) and attempting to steal (out by a mile) after a leadoff walk Tuesday, down 2-0. It's not cute that he's "trying". It's just stupid and reckless baseball.

Jose is a very good hitter but he needs to tone it down on the basepaths. It's a correctable problem, and it needs to start with the fans not cheering on his blunders.

I'm not entirely sure why Clemens wasn't allowed to finish the inning.

As i figured once the schedule lightened up this team would start winning games.

Team is still very bad, probably gonna lose 100 again, but i never bought into that nonsense about historically bad, 120+ loss team. I'm not even sure we can keep up with the Marlins.

Unfortunately, if they lose 100 again it's still a historically bad 3 year stretch.

But I agree with you that they're playing better. The Rockies are a legit team, as well, so the wins against them aren't a result of a light schedule.

If you check all the projections, this team should finish ahead of the Marlins by a couple games. In some ways, that's the worst case scenario. If you're going to lose 100, what's a couple more? Just get the 1.1 and the huge money advantages that come with it.

Ronny Cedeno is the worst "defensive SS" I've ever seen.

This inning blows, as Castro can't pick up a ball. Bases loaded. 3 errors in one inning.

At what point do we stop trading everyone with value, and start using them to build a team?
