All series talk goes in here. DO NOT GIVE PLAY-BY-PLAY! If you need PBP try Yahoo, ESPN, or Sportsline.

4-18 Chris Sampson, RHP (1-0, 0.00) vs. Aaron Harang, RHP (2-0, 5.40) 6:10 on KNWS

4-19 Woody Williams, RHP (0-2, 5.63) vs. Bronson Arroyo, RHP (0-2, 3.48) 6:10 on FSN

Sampson and Williams against the Reds? Expect some offense! Astros Win/Win 8-7 and 12-9.

Harangatang will be tough though. Berkman hopefully will wakeup, ST is over. Woody needs to get it going.

Very interesting pitching matchups; Sampson & Harang are both sinkerballers who have to keep the ball down, down, down to be successful, especially at the Great American Launching Pad & **** "Chili" Emporium.

Arroyo reminds me very much of a younger Woody, stuff wise. Woody has had problems all year with missing his spots up in the zone. If he does that against Cincy

Arroyo's given up 8 ERs in his 20+ innings, yet they've scored only 3 runs for him and have lost all 3 of his starts.

Outside of 1 bad game (4 ER, .1 IP)by the usually reliable Todd Coffey, their bullpen has been absolutely nails so far this season: 38.2 innings of 1.63 ERA ball. Much of this good work has been done by former Astros David Weathers & Saarloos, with a big assist from 80 year old Mike Stanton.

Former #1 overall draft pick turned 20 year old drug addict Josh Hamilton has really taken advantage of his first...err...crack at MLB.

Woody Williams was a poor band aid for losing Andy and Roger....

He wasn't the band aid. Jennings was the band aid for Pettitte. Clemens is still available.

No doubt. Heard a couple of interviews with him, Opening Day I think, he's a hard guy not to root for.

WWhy do we still post previous year's records for pitchers, and when do we stop doing that? ;)

With nature and the schedule, I'm about tired of these two-game series. I've been without baseball for six freaking months already; give me some four-game wraparound series and some doubleheaders, dammit!

Harang is overrated in my opinion. He had a couple of decent stretches last year but he's only slightly above mediocre.

the two rainouts pissed me off but really with the Rockets a serious title contender just watch the Astros and don't worry about the little things till a few hours pass from our championship parade downtown

Horrible AB for Berkman. He looks really out of sorts. Not like his usual self at all.

He's still drawn 12 walks this year... which is very much like himself.

The hits will come... just be patient.
