I knew that there was NO chance for us to score today, when I saw us losing 12-0 in the 4th. I thought to myself, we might as well save the offense. To make this game look even worse we should get shut out.

    Go Stros.

It appears Sir Rake is playing first today.

    W. Taveras cf
    C. Burke 2b
    L. Berkman lf
    M. Ensberg 3b
    J.R. House 1b
    J. Lane rf
    A. Everett ss
    B. Ausmus c
    R. Oswalt p

I don't mind giving House or Lane a spot start, but both together and no Scott, Huff, or Lamb? I swear Garner wants to lose...

WHAT? WTF? Okay, I have to calm down. I have to give Gar the benefit of the doubt. There has to be a method to his madness. I guess I have to go watch this, I want to torture myself today.

Ugh .. no Scott, Huff, or Lamb

Guess they didn't do much yesterday so what the hell.

Barring a serious "Dodgers-Like" run, we are done anyway, so I wouldn't mind getting to see House get some time at the big show. But Lane? I am done with him. I'd prefer never to see him in an Astros uni again.

    Dear Phil Garner,

It looks like it may be time for operation shutdown.

    Sincerely,

Wow it sucks having a lame duck team after the last 2 seasons we had. Its weird ... I'm actually choosing to work rather than watch the day game today ... sick

dont ask me why im watching this game....(its my day off)

but it looked like we could have thrown out both the runners scoring in the first inning if we had made decent throws at home plate?

obviously i dont think any of our players heads are in the game anymore

I am speechless. If we can't win with Roy O then I just about give up.

Thank God for Everett. I really like that guy. Then today he kept us from getting swept. I just wish Double Play Ausmus would turn into Hit for a Double Ausmus.

OK So I decide to turn the game on in the 7th and we actually come through ... Hope they can take the lead and get out of here with at least one W. That would make me feel a little better :)
