Marwin is garbage. Can they trade him? Bring up Tucker. Let’s see what he can do.

just 1 game in late june, with 1/3 of the lineup out that could have easily been a 2-1 victory if reed picks the ball.

I would have had Tyler White pinch hit for Marwin, not that it matters. Righty-hitting Marwin has been terrible, and White had a decent night yesterday. And about AJ Reed, look, today was disappointing, but I will say he's someone who probably needs time to settle in before heating up (remember Spring Training, when it took him time to get it going? I think that's also what happened at AAA). It was his first day in the bigs in about a year, and just one game is a small and inconsistent sample size. But if this is all Reed can do, then time to say bye-bye. I definitely have him on a shorter leash than White and Davis, and 2018 is probably his last chance (at least with us). Would have much rather had JD Davis just stay up continuously after his last call-up, he's the one I'm most optimistic of b/w Reed, White, and Davis. Much higher ceiling than Reed or White. Unpopular opinion but I think he's our 1B for 2019/20 (with Yuli taking Marwin's role as utility IF).

Yeah.. Jake should've held on too.

Tough game, but Astros can win the series. A Split is Default even considering the missing lineup.

    Yet only lose by ONE

Tonight is basically the WORST Astros Run-Diff Day.

    Otherwise... +TWO, daily.

'18 Astros are already the Best returning champion in 15+ years, and rising..

You really are AJ Reed’s biggest fan. You’ve mentioned his potential greatness in nearly every one of your posts.

In the end, it’s more likely that Reed, White, and Davis are all filler vs something greater.

    Lastly... paragraph.

Just from watching him at the plate, I think Davis has potential. White too, but he doesn't have the pop.

Reddick sucks. All his grounders are dinky weakly hit balls that are easy outs and don't help start a rally or continue one. Never makes solid contact : either a weak grounder or pop up.

Right? He's only hitting .450 the past week, .360 for the month of June.

    What a slacker.

They all could of been throw ins for a much needed reliever like Herrera. Luhnow has been sitting around with his hand in his pants getting smug with how the stros have done against weak competition.

They've been fully healthy and struggled against good teams... this is no time to take your foot off the pedal.

These guys should not be getting at bats once we get into Aug. Get an old dude like Beltre if you dont want to call up Tucker (understandable). Reed Tucker Davis just dont have what it takes... and I never said that about Martinez when he was a stro.
