Keuchel should have short leash, I don't care what his track record is. Someone should have been warming up in the BP by now.
Astros are just unlucky. They just need some Rangers luck. Once luck is on their side, the tide will turn and they'll go on a long run! :grin:
I know people were optimistic Keuchel was coming around but for the most part he's been a gas can this year. He just flat out sucks right now. He should have been taken out of this game a while ago.
I'm saying this now, KEUCHEL SUCKS!!! Last year winning the CY Young was either luck or a fluke. He's reverting back to his old self from 2013-2014.
What hurts with Keuchel is that he's your ace so what do the Astros do from here with him? Hope he gets back to form? It's tough cause they don't have that ace they need to be a winning team at least not on the major league club.

his peripherals looked pretty great the past 4 games. i think it's mental at this point. why can we not hit matt moore? this guy is a gas can and has horrible outings and then he plays us and then he looks like kershaw
I feel for Altuve. He's got nothing around him right now in the lineup for the most part. It's stupid to pitch to him in key situations.
All I'm saying is when you have talent and they regress or go into extended slumps then you have to start looking at the staff.
This lineup is atrocious. Moore has been awful all year and he's shut us down. Luhnow needs to do something about it.
i agree. joe maddon wouldnt be this terrible with this roster. i blame hinch b**** ass. god i hate him.
Mental may be apart of Keuchel's issues but for the most part his stuff doesn't look as good and without command he's not much better then a batting practice pitcher because he doesn't have dominant stuff. The mental part of is that he probably knows he doesn't have great stuff and is thinking too much about making perfect pitches. As far as the hitters not doing anything against Moore, the lineup is Altuve and a bunch of guys at this point for the most part.
