I like Julks well enough. His 6 walks to 5 strikeouts the last 14 days is a nice sign. The discussion is really Chas and Julks. Meyers is a gold glove caliber center fielder. He should be out there 90% of the time. If Julks Conti yes hitting like he has the last two or three weeks, then he certainly deserves to play left field. Chas needs to sit. Over the entire season, Chas and Jake have both been more valuable. The last 14 days Julks has looked like a major league hitter. If he can keep this up, I am fine with him getting the time. He has six walks in his past 40 or so plate appearances and had seven total in the previous 190. If he can work counts like this then he is a legit major leaguer. Through the first 190 plate appearances he was just a replaceable guy being used as a full in with whatever limited success he was having not being a sustainable kind due to his inability to draw walks.
WTF is going on with that turf at Globe life? Is it turf or grass? Has a real ****ed up look to it on TV
I’m glad that McCormick, 3 of his last 5 with a SB and an awesome catch, was punished today. Maybe he’ll think about what he did.
doobie drew a walk lol also, where's everybody at? forgot the game is at 3? c'mon julks. you can't GiDP there.
Corey Julks grounds into a double play, shortstop Corey Seager to second baseman Marcus Semien to first baseman Nathaniel Lowe. Mauricio Dubon out at 2nd. Corey Julks out at 1st.
