Altuve needs to be moved down to 6th or 7th. He's just not right at the plate so far this year.

Springer, Bregman, Brantley, Yordan, Correa, Yuli, whoever, whoever, whoever

Sneed has been very good tonight looks like he should get the next start not valdez.

White is begging to be DFA’d at this point. He’s lucky the Astros are too scared to play Alvarez at first.

In a sense I would agree, but keeping Altuve in the 2nd spot is more for moral consistency then anything. Correa coming back would push White out of the lineup again but at this point I'd rather see what Tucker can do at 1b.

We can all agree that our pitching needs an upgrade. Verlander/Cole/Miley is set but Valdez and company are not doing it. We have to get rid of James as well and fast.

Diaz and Correa go on rehab assignments beginning of next week. White has a couple weeks left on the team at most.

Sneed did excellent in saving the bullpen.

    5 IP / 1 R

Stros play 11 consecutive days coming out of the break.

Cy Sneed quietly has hidden 5 IP, 7 Ks, and only 1 ER in his beard tonight.

Good Job Sneed for saving the bullpen at least.

Got to give him props for that.

    I know, that's why it'll never happen.

Sneed pitched his ass off tonight, he deserves some kudos.

I think we score at least 3 runs but still lose in the 9th with a man on

I can't watch the weekend games, so this great home cooked meal and bottle of wine was quasi-wasted watching this horseshit show. Boo.

I really really don’t want to give up on James or Valdez yet (yes I know I’m contradicting myself from earlier). They’ve both shown killer stuff and have both shown flashes of brilliance, granted almost all of those last yr.

They certainly don’t need to be at the major league level right now but given that they’ve probably dinged their trade value a good amount I don’t see the point in dealing them for pennies on the dollar. Throw them back to AAA, get them back to where they were before the season started and ship em off or give them one last crack.

Astros have yet to beatdown the Rangers as bad as they did us '11-'16.

Framber sucked, but what's the offense's excuse?
