We'll see... one of the hallmarks of the Cards 6 game losing streak is that they've had the LEAD in every single one of those games.

Ugh... just what the Cards and Carpenter needed. Quick 1-2-3 inning for the heart of the San Diego offense.

Its worse then I thought... Russ!

    Don't hit him.

Cardinals announcers STILL complaining about Carpenter pitching to Berkman... as if it was somebody else's fault that, and Bud Selig forced him to pitch to Berkman. (also, as if Luke Scott would have just gone down without a prayer).

The Cards won't lose today with Ronnie "George Herman Babe Ruth" Belliard playing for them today. All Belliard needs to become Babe Ruth is a crown, a bunch of women, and a funny wink.

Is Miller ready? This matchup doesn't look that good.

Doumit is 2 for 3 with 2 HR, vs. Springer

To Russ's credit... I'd rather have him face Doumit then Bay... then again, Doumit with good career numbers against him.

    Unbelievable.

Encarnacion hits the ball about a foot in front of the plate. Instead of taking the sure out at first, the Pads' catcher goes for second. Shortstop drops it and everybody's safe. Two on, one out for Rolen and Edmonds. We're in trouble.
