What is Rolen batting in hits for the last 2 weeks... then, subtract from that what he's been batting with RISP the last two weeks. Finally, look at the post-game press conference from last night, where he admits that something isn't "right" with his swing right now. I admit that strategically, with everything playing out as it should, it was the "correct" move... I just would have taken my chances with the alternative.
These extra inning games never seem to work out for us - and I stay up watching these devastating losses all for nothing. I don't f*ckin' believe this! Wow!
That was a good game and still only 1 1/2 back. St Louis has a game against the Padres left and also San Fran -- Milwaukee has been good against them but we can't rely on them -- hopefully we can make up that game 1 1/2 and just win out.
GOD I HATE PUJOLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a huge win for the Stros!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I heart baseball!! Roy O always goes out and dominates in those afternoon road games, especially lately. He and Johan Santana have been the most dominant pitchers in baseball in the 2nd half. GO BREWERS!!!!!!!!! GO ASTROS!!!!!!!!!!!
