This is easily the most ignorant comment on these boards in the last couple years.

If the Astros go 28-6 the rest of the year, they'll have 88 wins. That should be enough for the wild card. Come on, it's only 89% winning percentage for the rest of the season...

Well, I used up all my pessimism in about two season's worth of Rockets posts, so I figured I might as well use some of this pent up optimism I have. :D

Methinks sarcasm is in place of true optimism.

I didn't see it mentioned anywhere earlier in the thread, but Willy T should be pretty pissed at the bullpen. When he ran into the wall, none of the guys sitting there made a move or looked to have said anything. The way I was always taught was that if you're close enough to a guy running to the wall you at least help him out with how close he is. They didn't seem to even be looking at him. even after he dropped it they didn't move or say "behind you" or anything. I'm not so sure that even if he had caught it they'd have moved. They looked like cardboard cut-outs.

We can do it and I really believe we will. They are good at scaring us and the pulling it out in the end.

I noticed that too. There was someone just sitting ther who had his leg up on the fence. He didn't even move or show any sort of excitment. He kept sitting there eating his seeds. You would think that he would at least stand up as he notices the ball coming in his general direction.

Maybe the relievers get immune to balls flying by them, but yeah if they yell out to Willy T., he may have been better prepared once he hits the wall.
