another great series ... it'd be nice to get this to a few games over .500 by the all star break given that we have 8 games left against the Pirates/Nats. The schedule after the break looks pretty brutal though
With Saturday being July 4th, is the Fox exclusive window blackout the TV broadcast of the Astros Giants game at 3:05pm? I am in San Antonio for the weekend and was wondering if I will be able to watch my squad on Saturday. I know that MLB.TV blocks out Astros games here in San Antonio. It is aboslutely stupid. I am close to 200 miles away from the city and am not able to watch via the internet.
That bee thing was hilarious. I missed the end of the game so missed this whole fiasco, but caught it on SportsCenter this morning, the first time I've watched SC in months. Ofcourse, I just happened to tune in when they were talking about NBA FA's followed by the Stros. Turned it off after the stros.
I was at the game in left field. They came from outside the stadium. Basically over the outfield right around the Padres' Kyle Blanks and hung around there for a while and then posted up on the ballgirl's chair. I don't know why. A few months ago, there is a restaurant right outside the stadium that had a bunch of bees make a hive on one of the outside patio tables. I guess its the area. The funny thing about it was that it was a perfect end of the day for that dude Blanks who plays left field for San Diego. He went 0 for 4 including a rally killing double play. He was also embarrassed when he went to throw a ball to the fans and it was just short hitting the wall. Twice. Then when Lance scored after the delay the ball was hit to exact spot the bees were just removed from and Blanks missed the bounce forcing the shortstop to come outfield to get it. Talk about a rough day. Oh and I was letting him hear it.
