Sorry, starting tonight for who again? Sorry, who was that? Hmm? Oh, the TAMPA BAY DEVIL RAYS? Ever-loving Jesus on the cross, what does that prove?
Kudos to Phil Garner. Morgan is back, Huff moves to right, and Scott stays in the lineup for another day by moving to left. Preston Wilson sits for his second consecutive game. Nice move, Phil... I didn't think you'd have the guts to do it.
Cincinnati and Arizona getting whipped, better take advantage. Its a new month, Morgan is back, the trade deadline is behind us, lets get it going tonite. If they would play like they know how to play this is probably the 2nd best team in the NL behind the mets. Maybe they should take a look at those videos from the last 2 octobers to get some motivation. Lets go Astros!!!
Agree, good move. Can't believe Phil actually had guts to bench Garner. Now he needs guts to bench Assmus.
WTH is taking him so long? Peavy is going to own Petitte tonight. He had two homers last time he pitched. A miracle if Andy hit one out of the park also
I posted the same thing earlier...Its not even on the schedule...**** Why do they show Rangers games when we live much closer to Houston. When I called Dish Network they said that was the Houston Managements call. I know McClane and the boys know that they have a sellout every game plus there out of town....This Sucks...I wanted to see how Morgan does and see Wilson on the bench again ...Way to go Garner now bench Ausmus and put Munroe in there...
I just have a feeling that these guys are gonna go on a tear starting tonight. The trade deadline is behind us and we have the same nucleus as last year. Maybe the trade we made was for Ensberg the 4th best player in the NL last yr. I mean if he gets hot and Huff can then it would be like Huff just took Lanes place. I believe in these guys cause the Rocket said they can do it...
Funny you should ask... I noticed that since the All-Star break, the Astros have been wearing their alternate road jerseys (the red one) every night on the road. Has this jersey become the official road jersey and is there any chance of the Astros bringing back their black jersey? -- Chris B., Houston I don't think the black jerseys are going to make a return anytime soon. The Astros are using the red jersey more than the gray mainly because of comfort. The red jerseys are a lighter weight material, which keeps them cooler during day games in some of the hotter cities. The article has some good info on Bagwell, too. He should be in the dugout tonight and for the rest of this series.
