    Our defense in left field might be suspect this season, but our improved infield defense has been on display today. First to third, I have to think this group ends up as one of the best in the league.

    I’ve been very pleased with how Smith has looked in RF, he could settle in as a plus defender there, in which case LF is the only spot where Houston won’t be really good defensively.

    Solid day at the plate for Cam. 2-4 with an RBI and even his two outs were well-struck. Between this, the big triple last night and some solid defense, he's had a pretty darn good series. Hope he keeps it up!

    That might be the second Daikin Park home run he hit today. He had one earlier to near straightaway center that seemed out off the bat. The balls just seem to die at the warning track here. But it's encouraging that he's making good contact and driving the ball deep. And he's seeing the ball better this series—only one strikeout to five walks and two hits.
