Lyles is very far from being a trash can. Dude has been nails tonight and great this season outside of one start. Even fantasy leagues are picking him up.

He's been lights out. He's had, by far, the best curveball I've ever seen from him tonight.

What a great effort from Lyles that seems to be wasted. This kid just seems to get better and better. He shows potential to be upper rotation material

Wow. 10ks from Lyles in 7 shoutout innings.

    Over his last 19 starts:

    108.1 IP
    3.66 ERA
    1.27 WHIP
    85 ks (7.02/9)

Only 22 years old. Pretty solid #3 starter in that time span. If you don't trade Bud/Harrell, you've got a solid foundation for a rotation. Just need that guy up front (Appel?).

If he has really figured it out, it will go a long way in accelerating our success.
