you can't be watching the game and cheering aloud for the rangers, then the thought would be, those newbs. it could be they were in silence in awe that they can still have a shot at the division.
Astros win and what Angels did today don't mean a whole lot unless Rangers loose again tomorrow with Hamels on deck and then all this turns into a Rangers collapse
Pretty damn certain that's what he was implying. I don't think sitting in silence is another form of being happy and cheering. Not in America, at least.

Never said anything about them being upset- shocked and upset aren't synonyms. Correction- after that last post, yeah, they should be hoping for the division title- just win out and they don't have to worry about anything.
This is disturbing to me as well. The Astros should be grateful to still have an opportunity at the division instead of backing in as a wild card. Not a winning mentality in my opinion. Need to just go out and cease the opportunity they still have.
I don't like it, but i am NOT surprised, i said a long time ago this team was playing more looking at others to lose instead of them winning. September was just like that, is time for them to win games, instead of others losing.
I'm sure they wanted to clinch tonight....but that's just natural. Doesn't mean they can't come out and play a solid game. One of the biggest strengths of this team is their clubhouse. They are a loose bunch, that just want to go out there and have fun. I'm not concerned over them being a little upset that they won't be able to clinch the second wild card game tonight.
they can't clinch, they need to win tomorrow in case Angels win, now, if we win both, and Angels win both, they are gone but we play 1 game vs Rangers for the division and i like our chances on that game because we are getting the Rangers after 3 straight loses, and we are going after 4 games winning. I think Gallardo would be their starter
By clinch I was meaning at least a play in game. Sure hope we win tonight, would be a lot of pressure on a rookie tomorrow if not.
