that was the funniest **** i've ever seen. carlos had a better chance going back to third than scoring by the time that ball got home. the camera was fixed on home plated for like 5 seconds waiting for him to get there. just awesome.
Why the hell would the third base coach tell Lee to run home, the throw from the CF was dead on and he picked up the ball before Lee touched third? It is so difficult to watch this team!!!
Jeez...I'm really starting to tire of this team...everyone (coaches too) save for Lee needs to get their head outa the sand and start playing like the major league ballplayers they are.
What a horrible decision by the 3rd base coach. The ball was coming in before Lee even rounded 3rd. The catcher already had the ball before Lee got in screen. When the throw came to the plate I has hoping it was just for show and Lee wasn't actually trying to score. Poor baserunning strikes again. How many bad decisions has the 3rd base coach (Mansolino?) made this year?
Berkman needs to lose the tiki doll once and for all. The Astros are just playing a comedy of a ballgame right now. I haven't laughed this hard watching baseball in a while.
This team is not on the same page. I think Garner's lost them. We have a runner on 3rd, less than 2 outs, defense playing back, 8 hitter up, and OP is not running on contact? Everett seemed to look confused as he was taking a groundball approach. Even Lamb has looked beyond awful at the plate.
Wandy had no business still being out there... it may be time for another one of those "players meetings". What's the goal for this year? Does anybody have a sense of urgency? Is everybody going to cling to the company line of how bad this division is?
Who beaned Scott in the leg? Was that Albers? There was a shot of quite a few people in the stands who got a good laugh out of that. I've never seen anything like that.
