    I liked Uprising's posts.

Regardless, Major and I had badass seats yesterday and, along with the rest of my family, were about the only people cheering the whole day. All I have to say is that Wrigley is the best place I've ever seen a baseball game. As much as I love MMP, Wrigley is what baseball is supposed to be about. Hmm, Old Style and brats and an Astros' win. Life was great yesterday.

    :)

Hey, thanks Rocketman95, I appreciate it.

Wow, you were at the game!! Damn it must have been great!!. 14K's...so awesom.

I would have loved to have been at that game, or tonights when we are going to tie the cubs for 1st place!! Let's go Astros!

Oswalt isn't going to let Miller be in the spotlight alone, he will open up and be his usual self tonight!! I hope.

You got me there if i was talking about Houston/USA time, but I am in Saudi Arabia right now.

    Its 11pm.

Astros go down quietly in top of first.

Oswalt gives up back to back Singles, and now SOsa is up to bat....DOH!!!!

Good old Alou, I know we could rely on him.

grounds into double play, no runs given up....whew, close one.

Darn good pitching so far by both clubs. 0-0 through 4.

Top of the fith inning is on its way. still only 1 hit for the astros, and 4 for the Cubies.

Oswalt has gotten lucky with 2 double plays, in the first and second innings. They got him out of a jam.

Cubs seem to have lucked out as well. A couple hits so far looked like they were gone to me, but they ended up falling short. Is the wind really blowing in?

Edit: GOOD GOD that was an amazing defensive play by Everett!!!

How good is Adam Everett? Brings back memories of Roger Metzger.

This is turning out to be one of the best games of the year. Great pitching and even better defense. Quick game.

PS - Sosa: 6 Ks in 7 ABs since coming off the DL (ouch!)

Oswalt just got his 8th strike out tonight, we are now through 7 innings!! Man, such a good showing by Oswalt, I hope the team can score to win this one.

Oswalt goes 7 innings with out giving up a walk, and now Dotel has come in and has walked the first two batters he has faced. Dotel is not looking good out there....

    Added later:
OH HELL YEAH!!! Dotel pulls himself out of the jam. gets two strikeouts, man left on 3rd and 2nd.

Here comes the ninth inning, hopefully the astros will attack the new cubies pitcher.

...........but he comes back and gets out of the inning without allowing a run.

    What a game! Playoff atmosphere.

Ok. I love Jimi and think he has done a hell of a job this year. But letting Merced hit against a left handed pitcher? How about letting Bagwell pinch hit??

That's true. I edited that in my last post after it happened. Rally time. Time to win this game!!

This is a hell of a game, for the pitchers.

    .........

What is our 3rd base coach thinking???!!!??? That was not even close. As soon as I saw Berkman approaching 3rd and Lamont waving his arms, I was yelling "NO! NO! NO!". :(

Alou's arm is not all the great, but its not so bad that you send the runner home when Alou already has the ball in his glove and your runner has just touched 3rd.

Edit: Alou had the ball in his glove before Berkman even touched 3rd. Amazing.
