Yea.. my bad... hopefully Willy doesn't take it personally (although he proved the "no-bat" nickname just now).

Why? Palmeiro is a high-contact/low-strikeout guy, a lefty, and a pretty decent fielder if you decide to leave him in.

Frankly, if guys like Lane can lose their job, guys like Palmeiro should be given an opportunity to gain more playing time.

WOO... that was a HUGE HR by Bidge.

Looks like the Cardinals "dominant" bullpen has sprung a leak.

I'd still like to have about 6 more before I'm comfortable with the pen holding the lead.

I was thinking of his last pinch-hit (possibly incorrectly). :D

Well I wasn't expecting *that* either!

Wheeler for the 8th (Pujols can't tie the game), and Lidge for the 9th (Won't face Pujols).

Is there anything better in the world than watching Pujols after he is tagged out at the plate? Reminds me of Game 5 last year in the NLCS.

Why do I suddenly get allergic reactions when I hear Brownie say "Mike Gallo warming up for Houston..."

Is Garner planning on letting him try to get that first save of his career again tonight?

I might be slow, but I just heard the reason Roy O was pulled early last night was because he hurt his hammy running to first base in the 3rd inning.
