That was at least 3-4 inches outside... Enough to be pretty clear.

Was outside... Fister should hope to get the same call because he can pitch a complete game if that's consistently called.

Fister would have 5-6 k's if that was the strike zone for him...sheesh.

I hate umps! I know it sounds homerish but we get screwed more than any other team by bad calls.

Lucroy is certainly going to get some attention towards the trade deadline.

Yeesh... you hope that the brewers haven't started to pick up on Fister's stuff. 83mph is probably not going to cut it, even with precise location.

Lucroy is a good hitter...., with movement like he's getting he can get away with a lower velocity.

Braun has looked awful tonight due to that movement. Lucroy just took advantage of a mistake.

White does his best anti-Carter impression.

good recovery by Fister after the lead-off double. The pitch Lucroy got for the double was actually a pretty good pitch...sometimes good hitters hit good pitches.

Great job to battle back with 2 k's and a weak ground out. Nice play by White too!

Let's add some more runs though...

Agreed. Just cautioning against continued effectiveness if the velocity continues to go down.

85-86 is about where he has to be. 83-84 will eventually get picked up and crushed, regardless of location/movement.

Yeah I get your point. I'm not sure how much stock I put into radar guns. So many different parks have the MPH vary at a huge level. However if he can stay at that 85-87 mph mark, he'll be in good shape.

    Good eye by Springer.

Castro would have thrown him out.

    That's what makes him valuable.
