Remember, no PBP in these threads and keep the chatter on topic (if it is about something other than this series, talk about it in another thread).

    Jul 4 **B. Moehler vs. T. Hudson ** FSN @ 6:30pm

    Jul 5 **C. Sampson vs. J. Reyes ** FSN @ 7:10 pm

    Jul 6 **W. Rodríguez vs. C. Morton ** My20 @ 12:35 pm

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm hoping the Astros can turn this thing around. I hate seeing them in LAST place in their division. :(

Braves just got swept by the Phillies but they are damn good at home.

    I say LWL

At least we held our opponent scoreless until the 2nd inning this time.

Man our pitching sucks. In the last 4 games our starters have given up 18 runs in 22.2 innings (7.15 ERA). In those 22.2 innings, the opposing team has scored in 14 of them (60% of the time).

The pre-game press release states Coop is, "Hoping for 3 to 4 innings" from Sampson..

    Code:
    [U]TEAM W L % GB[/U]
    Chicago 52 35 .598 -
    St. Louis 49 39 .557 3.5
    Milwaukee 47 39 .547 4.5
    Pittsburgh 40 45 .471 11.0
    Cincinnati 41 47 .466 11.5
    Houston 40 47 .460 12.0

Man, it really sucks to see us that low. :(

It's starting to get old getting all excited for one of the Houston teams then to be let down and then looking forward to the next Houston team......then a let down. At least the Texans had a "good" season last year, finally doing something good.

I really hope the Astros can pull a hell of a streak to get us back into this.

I'll be watching every game I can till the end of the season, but man this sucks.

    Go Stros.

well, last night's game was a fun one to watch. Lot's of clutch hitting with 2 outs. Plus it was nice being the team that jumped out early to a lead.

First game in a long time where we didn't spot the opponent a few runs to begin with.

No joke. We're making the games 80 times harder than they need to be by spotting teams 3-4 runs in the first 2-3 innings.

"""HOUSTON'S LANCE BERKMAN WAS SCRATCHED FROM THE STARTING LINEUP WITH A SORE LEFT EYE."""

10 man points taken away from Lance. Jesus, lol.
