    One thing is clear: this Maton is not the Maton we saw in last years postseason. Not sure I wanna see him out there this time around.

    That was the outlier. Maton was mediocre in Cleveland and in Houston.

    The Astros are a great team but not very deep. They still need quite a bit of upgrades to feel ready for October (a couple of bats at least, bullpen help, etc.) The team also appeared to approach this series like it was spring training. Disappointing after coming out like gangbusters after the break but oh well.

    Teams would be stupid to pitch to Yordan in a big spot with no current real protection right now with how Dusty configures the lineup.

    The lineup isn't deep, but the Astros have one of the deepest pitching staffs in baseball. Maton is their 5th or 6th best reliever and has an ERA in the mid-3's. And that's without McCullers.

    The Stros are quite deep. IF/OF/SP/RP.

    Doesn't mean that they can't improve at a couple of spots.

    But Dusty loves to use Maton so they need help in the bullpen in my opinion to keep him from using Maton as much as he does.
