Correa too worried about which fedora to wear on the way back to the hotel. Couldn't stop and throw the ball home.

Team does need better players. Gomez/Marisnick/Rasmus are all hitters who shouldn't be playing every day and Sipp shouldn't be on the 25 man roster.

Hinch doesn't have a LOOGY to go to.

Gotta give him some credit. Look at the individual stats of the players sans Altuve. It's amazing the team is as good as it is now.

And we're absolutely trapped with Sipp and his 18 million dollar contract.

Yeah this was a 6 inning start then hand over to Giles/Gregerson/Harris. Though they didn't set the world on fire when they pitched but you got an off day Thursday, it's ok to use the bullpen 3 innings here.

It's games like this that you'll remember most if they miss the playoffs.

That is bs. It is clear as day. Washington even faked back the bag like he was the baserunner. They should protest. What a ****ty move.

He doesn't deserve much credit. Altuve is having one of the best seasons by an Astro ever and the bullpen and infield offense has been solid overall. This team still makes too many mental errors and at times just seems poorly coached. I just have no confidence in him.

The bullpen and infield defense has a lot to do with coaching especially with as much as this team shifts. Teams don't usually do well if all but one player is hitting worse than .270. Just look around the rest of the league. They all have more guys who are hitting so much better.

Dude, Ron Washington totally acted like he was a base runner on the final play. Wow!

What a terrible loss. We have to be able to score more than 3 vs the pitching we saw tonight though. Bregman has to be up asap.

After watching the replay it definitely looked as if Correa mistook Washington for the BR and lost sight of Semien due to angle he took to the plate. I still think he had time to set and throw a strike to Gattis. Still, a d1ck move by Washington.

If that's what caused Correa to **** the bed then you have to give the guy props for deking him. There's got to be rules about where the 3B coach can be on the field.

Imagine if the A's were actually a good team!

Sure as hell feels like Rangers/Astros but 16-15 vs. them this year & last.

But but but where are they gonna find the playing time for all these guys?!

    Ha.

Too bad they can't take advantage of Texas' losing ways.
