    I'll never understand how Frank Thomas is a first-ballot hall of famer and Bagwell isn't. Bagwell was by far the better player.

    Bagwell is easily better, but Frank has several advantages... the biggest being steroid suspicion.

    The suspicion is such bull**** to me. To me, if Bagwell never tested positive, and the Mitchel report never named him, being a former teammate of Ken freakin Caminiti, and Roger Clements, should speak volumes about what he did and din not do.

    I don't really think that the steriod thing has as much to do with it as the east coast bias. How many voters actually watched Jeff play as opposed to Frank Thomas.

    I'd say EC bias is the 2nd biggest factor, but Thomas has on-field advantages too. Piazza was in a similar position as Jeff, with his delayed induction.

    Not sure how being friends/teammates with former users would help his case, but okay. Cammy never tested positive nor was mentioned in the Mitchell.. he just openly gave the information. The Mitchell report mainly focused on NY, BOS, and maybe a couple more teams.

    I think Bags cheated, but am glad he never got caught and will likely make the HOF.
