We are inches away from another perfect game bid. Both our hits were just out of the reach of Crisp and Lowrie.

We left in the top of the 6th, got home and the damn game was still on! Jeez that was brutal. Futility...thy name is Astros. On the bright side, the stadium rebranding looks pretty dang good. Just about makes you forget there ever was burnt red...and I loved that look.
Opening a can on the 2010 D-Backs. They were at 32 strikeouts through 4 games. The A's last year struck out 31 times through 4 games.
Also, more on Alex White's Tommy John surgery: <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p><a href="https://twitter.com/search/%23Astros">#Astros</a>' Alex White will undergo Tommy John surgery on Thursday. I was lookign at some random stats, and realize the Marlins are pretty bad too. Until tonight they had only scored one run total in their first 3 games.
They're the other team scraping the bottom of the barrel with their payroll, though they're still spending $15 million more than us. Our is so low that the team with the 3rd lowest payroll is still spending more than twice what we are and the team with the 7th lowest is spending three times as much.
To be fair to Wallace stranding the bases loaded, he didnt strike out. That is noticeable improvement and should lock him in as one of our stars for the next two years. Singleton better find a new position.
