Roy really needs to stop the bleeding tonight... I don't think he's ever been on a team that has gone winless 5 straight times when he takes the mound.

First Willy T takes Oswalt deep... now Joe Kennedy (the American League pitcher) blasts one to deeeeeep CF in MMP for a 2 RBI double.

Roy's been burned by his attention lapses this year... has the bulldog been softened up a tad by the $$$?

walk, bloop, BLAST (by the pitcher), bloop... = 3 runs and counting, with the heart of the lineup coming up.

This team not hitting is one thing... this team getting roughed up in the Woody/Wandy starts is another thing... but getting beat like this in a Roy start just causes you to start banging your head against the wall.

We suck, but at least Bidge is only 19 hits away.

Did they just try a hit & run with Ausmus and Oswalt?

Biggio is still a weapon against lefties... Phill has to see the drastic differences in his plate appearences vs. the different types of mound opponents.

Maybe the Astros should listen to Nick about only having Biggio leadoff against lefties. Only 18 hits to go. I'm definitely not opposed to having him have more off days against righties than he has had. Too bad there aren't more lefties in the league.

He's batting .268 against lefties, I think everyone could live with that. Only .203 against righties.

That's exactly where I'm coming from... its not that he's tremendous against lefties, but its that he's seemingly no longer a viable everyday big league player against righties (and definitely not a leadoff hitter). Why must they continue to expose the team (and Craig) to that sort of embarassment?

Roy gets victimized by another bloop (on an 0-2 count), Loretta can't handle the pickoff throw, and Roy then walks the subsequent batter (all after 2 outs). This team is just inventing new ways to get in trouble every single game.

Hey Roy, please tell us some more about how the offense sucks & how it affects you & whatnot.

Whatever you do, don't just shut the hell up & pitch. Keep grooving BP crap to the likes of Willy T & Ted Kennedy & then b**** about the hitters afterward.

When did he do this? I seriously must have missed it... I would have expected some venting at the bullpen after the last game, but not much else.

Did Hell just freeze over? Am I dreaming? Is this the Apocalypse? Or did Ausmus actually hit a go ahead home run?

Well then karma (BBG's) have come back and seriously bit him in the ass... after the pop fly HR's in Colorado, and the bloops/pitcher blasts tonight, he's got to focus on just pitching (then again, Ausmus has just hit a HR for him... so who knows which side karma is on).

Or maybe he's just complaining about last year... when he would have won the Cy Young handidly with just a few more victories (ie - run support).
