You haven’t seen the “El Tiempo margs” are too strong video? I think it went viral! (Showing all the people who may or may not have passed out in the stands after consumption).

But in all seriousness, I continue to be impressed every season with how much effort the Astros and the front office do for most of the 81 freaking home games. Friday/weekend games usually have something outside by the plaza (statue area)… but downtown has evolved enough now to have real established businesses that do decent gameday stuff (and you can also checkout EADO where theres more variety). In contrast to the Texans experience (usually fan driven with tailgating) and the Rockets/Toyota Center experience (non-existent), its really nice that the most successful team in this city’s history continues to be the best at putting on the full product (including still having the best of the stadiums, despite it being the oldest).

Inside, minus the parts that still don’t get enough AC, it’s the usual… but they still do a good job of diversifying the spaces to make them somewhat unique. By union station, you got LMJ’s place, the St. Arnolds area… then you got the HOF corridor… then you got CF which continues to be the best part of the ballpark (which didn’t exist when it first opened).

Sorry, started to run on like a commercial… but its still should be noted how great the ballpark experience still is here. Recently went to the Astros Marlins game in Miami and despite that stadium being much newer… it seems “older”/less fresh in terms of the in game experience (and surrounding stuff).

    Nah, much appreciated.

Hopefully a postseason trip can happen.

Dubon and Smith should be on the bench vs a RHSP

Urias only plays if either Yordan or Altuve are in LF and that's not good with spaghetti on the mound.

    And Melton simply can't hit.

Meyers is at least 85% vs RHP and can't return fast enough.

He's the mirror image of Pedro Leon.

Just remember he is a catcher - so at least for me, he isn’t as frustrating.

I agree with you - if I were someone with speed and defensive value, but the bar hasn’t come around — I would be spending hours perfecting the bunt, picking up tells for stealing bases and would be trying to get a hold of Brett Butler.

Same if I were Jake Meyers… right now teams are not good at defending the running game… get 50-60 stolen bases and bunt to get hits and also also change where the infielders play to squeeze some extra hits by the infield.

1 for 13 with the bases loaded is frustrating.

It sure is easier if you're a LH batter though

Maybe I'm an idiot, but somewhere you used to be able to look up split stats (like qualified MLB catchers with RISP, or whatever), but I sure as hell can't find that ability anymore.
