So we're having a potluck tomorrow and I'm trying to think of what to bring. I'd like something that is going to win over the office. Last time I made some pretty good chili, but was beat out by a buddy's bbq tri-tip. I'm leaning toward this pretty good vegtable lasagna a friend of mine makes, but am curious to see if any of you could come up with a better suggestion. I basically have to run to the store for ingredients and make it tonight. Thanks in advance.
Try bringing a type of dessert. I think everyone at work would be focused on the entree-portion of the potluck.
Meat options: Riblets Chicken Legs Chicken thighs all 3 are dirt cheap and easy to cook/eat. Easy way to win-over people for a Pot luck
One of the girls is bringing cake. Another dude is bringing cookies, so I'm heistant on dessert. I think everyone else is bringing main dishes like curry and baked chicken. I thought about riblets and I figured if done right they could steal the show.
Chicken Alfredo...simple and pretty cheap...but not commonly done! Chicken Fettucine Sauce Seasonings Broccoli/Mushrooms or both BAM!
That's about right -- for the co-workers who do not like or trust the cleanliness of other people's home cooking, bring something from a restaurant or the store. That's my rule for those awful office potlucks.
