You make me laugh. You got it backwards if you truly believe what coaches/gms are thinking. So many coaches/profesionals said this on TV: DEFENSE WINS CHAMIONSHIPS
If they have toooo many offensers, they need to sign some defenders. It depends. They know that defense is important too. .
guys/girls, blackbird is obviously some kid horsing around trying to anger people by creating threads, voicing opinions, then backing those opinions up with other opinions. it's clearly a joke. it just has to be
their last "offensor" they signed was Steve Nash since then they got Boris Diaw (wasn't a noted offensive player then) Raja Bell (noted stopper) Kurt Thomas (noted post defender) Brian Skinner ( Signed for post defence against people like Yao) they let go: Joe Johnson (definetly a offensor) Q rich (3 point gunner) James Jones (3 pt Gunner) i think i see a trend here to be honest that they are trying to be more defensive..........not offensive........ and this is a sample space of over 4 seasons.........
Suns' offense is good enough, and they do need more defense. Everyone knows it. I'm not talking about the trend. I'm talking the current ration of offensers to defenders in the whole NBA. .
OK im looking at the ratio on the current Phoneix team and it is amare nash Grant Hill vs Marion Bell Skinner um personally I don't think that ratio is all that different to ours and many other teams like San Antonio Ginobilli Parker vs Duncan Bowen oberto or even the rockets T-mac Yao Rafer vs Battier Hayes
Would you please give me the ratio of the whole NBA? Also, Duncan and Marion can play very very good offense. .
Could YOU give us the ratio of the whole NBA. This was your thread and theory yet you have provided no evidence outside of your personal opinions. When you said most coaches/GMs are following the D'Antoni's model of building a team, you were asked to list the other teams/coaches/GMs. You have not provided any empirical evidence or even a convincing rationale for your theory. If you don't want people debating your "theory" or disproving you then stay off the forum and keep it in your diary instead.
I do like debate, and I did my best to reply most questions. But I don't like bash, someone just keep bashing me. I do remember you, and do you really think that I need answer your post #44? As for the ratio, I don't have the exact number, and I don't think anyone has the exact number. But you must understand, if you disagree with my statement, it is fine, and I'm glad to debate. If you want to bash me and say that my statement is crappy, it is your job to prove that you are right and I am wrong. If you can't prove that you are right, it means you are just a crappy basher. Is it clear? .
I think that was what I did in my first post... but you responded with this... I gave some points to prove you wrong and you did not provide a single rebuttal. So for your most compelling argument for your point is that GMs/Coaches are hiring more offensive players than defensive players which you have no provided a single piece of evidence for. If you consider me saying that as 'bashing' than what should I say instead. I haven't bashed you at all in any of my posts; I have bashed your theory but thats because you haven't provided a single piece of evidence or a really convincing argument to anyone posting.

I don't like the attitude in your first post #44. And I do consider it as "bashing". If you don't think so, just ask someone else to confirm it. .
but you don't respond with evidence? There is a huge list of offensors vs defensors above your post. Mind making a comment on that post? You really have no evidence everytime you say something.
