    Odom?

    Battier Cook for Lamar Odom

    Anderson
    Scola
    Odom
    Ariza
    Brooks

with Tmac salary we just target Ginobli and resign Scola

    Ming/Anderson
    Scola/Landry
    Ariza/Odom
    Ginobli/Ariza
    Brooks/Lowry

Anyway, Ginobili isn't a half bad target (ignoring Odom) next off-season, if he's available.

    I have similar proposal:

Odom sign himself a $10M contract.
Rockets trade Battier and Cook for Odom.
Odom will play for Rockets and get paid by Rockets.
Battier and Cook will play for team Odom and Odom will have to pay them.

You won't get Odom for Battier and Cook.

I have a better proposal. List every single player in the NBA. Regardless of contract, cap space, age, talent level, shoe size, hell freezing over or what planet he's from. Just list them all and work out a scenario where the Rockets can get him. Then we wont have to worry about these threads anymore.

Ariza isn't a shooting guard. He is long and athletic, and is gonna be our small foward. This trade would never happen.

Ginobili is way too injury prone.

Oh please, I'd love to have a knuckle head who went from being a supposed allstar to 6th man. Surely, at a time when we are heading into rebuilding, the prudent thing is to invest millions of dollars for multiple years to a guy who is a 3rd fiddle who plays below his talent level. A team that doesn't have any healthy star caliber players could only benefit from this.

I'm in Los Angeles right now watching th LA news. The sports director is talking about Odom and how he was instrumental when the Lakers dominated the Rockets. LMAO.

Fantastic post. You're fighting popular opinion, but I think you're right. San Antonio isn't going to 'walk' anywhere.

    ----

To those who want Ginobili: If we get him, I will buy his jersey just to take a dump on it and send it back to the store.

I can stand a lot of things - losing consistently, long-term injuries, thugs... but there's one thing I can't stand: flopping. Besides, he'd look really weird in red.

immaturity and name-calling constitutes a "fantastic post". must be a buddy of yours.

san antonio 2008-09 plus ginobili, jefferson, and mcdyess combined with lakers 2008-09 minus ariza and odom plus artest would equal SA cruising, in my opinion. i'm guessing that neither you nor your fishy buddy know that ginobili wasn't playing in the playoffs or most of the season last year.
