i can admit when i'm wrong. (contrary to popular belief :) )

i thought at the start of the season that Tmac as the PG setting up others for shots would be detrimental to the flow of our offense.

    Well, i was wrong.

His all round game now, his shooting notwithstanding, is a real boost for us. If he does get his shot together we are gonna be serious.

How about voting Zboy as our clutch fan president? He is on my favorite list since I have been here.
Plus, V-span will be in place of Alston sooner or later, if JVG knows what he is doing.

Right now if we get Billy alot of minutes, then he would foul out in 20. He's an aggressive defender and I hope he succeeds but right he is not going to be the starting point gaurd.

Yes Billy can hit the layup, but so can our other gaurds. You can't missed a layup if you don't take them. They are spot up shooters and rarely do they penatrate.

1 game. He is the type of defender that COULD foul out in a very short amount of time. Depends on how the refs call it.

According to this logic, we should bench Yao.

VSpan could very well be in foul trouble in most games. But the only way he will learn to avoid such a problem is IF he is on the court learning from his mistakes and not rotting on the bench.

Similarly, Hayes used to get in lot of foul problems but he has cut down on it after being on the court.

Nothing beats Real game experience. Not even hours of solid practices.

Well, not T-Mac is off court, how many people would still want Rafer to make decision now ?

Just about every station I tuned into is showing Kobe's dunk over Yao.

Rafer did foul out, so what's the difference?
And he shot horribly, what's the difference?
And he got into trouble bringing the ball up and wound up with 7 turnovers and couldn't get us into the offense.

After so much, you gotta try something different. It was obvious as soon as the Lakers started pressing us that we were in trouble.

Um how could you guys want V-Span to start or even defend the guy? That guy is an awful basketball player right now. It'll take a year or two before he's ready

And Rafer isn't? Rafer couldn't even get us into the offense in the 2nd half man. That's pretty bad man. I have defended Rafer a lot in the past but can't defend 7 turnovers to go along with 6 fouls and 35% shooting. Those stats spell 'awful basketball player right now".
