And world history is full of countless examples of how great it is when profit earning companies get to choose between an individual's health and their own bottom line.
Trader, I am very appreciative of the good fight you put up here on a daily basis with these pin headed mentally challenged lefties. You are one of my favorite posters. However, I gave up debating with these brainwashed knuckleheaded libs a long time ago and can only watch and listen from the sidelines with complete comtempt for their ignorance and arrogance!
I'm a little more on the left than the right (mainly because of the NeoCons), but I will gladly listen to what you have to say, I am not content with the status quo, and if I emote arrogance I do appologize. But, by lowering yourself to throwing insults doesn't that make you as bad, or dare I say worse than the rest of us?
I am not opposed to some of what the current proposals are trying to do, but Congress is rushing through an Edsel. This was the main reason for the demise of the Hillary proposal years ago. A health care overhaul is worthy of at least a year or two of serious research by a bi-partison panel of all interested parties. A well studied proposal, clearly explained to the public would likely pass both houses. Currently, this is a political monstrosity.
Seriously. There has got to be some other descriptions he could come up with that don't exactly capture the results of the previous administration.
Err, research has been going on for more than a decade. It's not like they just made all these things up from thin air.
No, a political monstrosity is dragging a health reform, or any other bill, along for 1-2 years. Even a month of commercials by interests groups and circulated rumors and misinformation would curtail the perfect bill, which is why Democrats are trying to get it out of committee before recess. There is no true bi-partisan solution to legislation this big. And both sides have had 15 years to study. Hillary failed because the numbers in the House and Senate weren't as favorable as they are now, and because they didn't let Congress create their own bill. Current system is a disaster and frankly, anything, even the non-existent Republican overhaul, would be better.
So, your post is full of insults and arrogance. That's an excellent way to make your... hold on, crap, no it's not.
I am certain that you gave up debating because your ideology is bankrupt and your head is bereft of intellectual curiosity.
