Also, it's kind of hard to swallow this BS that Oak is spewing, considering Yao and Dirk would have embarrassed Oak in his prime. because you can't? how do you define skill? most sporting skills are in regards to eye-hand co-ordination which is quite simply a physical ability. what are these sports and skills you refer to which do not require physical ability?
He may mean muscle types. Genetically, a certain blacks(not all blacks) originally from western Africa have that kind of muscle with explosiveness needed in short-track running and basketball, etc. At the same time, this kind of muscle type makes the whole body more intense so that it's not an advantage for them swimming. Some blacks are really excellent at some sports, yet they overbrag that which is repulsive to other kind of people. How many lawers do you see are black in America? How many good doctors, scientists and engineers are African American? Those professions are the real ones that propell the whole society's progress, not sports and entertainments, I'm sorry.
AstroRock, that was funny! You know what happened earlier today? I went to the batting cage. There was this black dude there who was like 0 percent fat and hitting 90mph balls all over the place. So, to prove my point tonight, I took a bat, stood my 15 percent body fat ass in the cage and commenced to miss the first ten pitches. After being ridiculed and told that how am I going to hit if I am from India and Indians don't play baseball. I then turned to him and said "Sir, I am of Dominican descent. And for your info, this is the 110mph batting cage. I just needed to warm up." I then headed to the 90mph batting cage and ripped 3 balls of the back net and hit the last one to dead center cage. Once again, the Dominican theory is proven correct. Its in the blood baby. Its in the blood.

And your excuse is weak. Plenty of black people play chess. There are chess clubs all over the country, in black neighborhoods. And chess is a sport. It just focuses on other skill sets, besides running, jumping, hitting, and throwing.
If poker is a sport (they show 'em all the time on ESPN..) then chess is definitely another. Chess is like a war between two countries too!

Nowitski is oversized for this position and Stojakovic was a no show in the playoffs. Yao is by far the most versatile of all these players but he's got a long way to go to duplicate the success of former center greats like Hakeem. I personally think that there are relative "race" advantages when we look at gene pools and also cultural customs. Every race has evolved over the years depending on their social and economic needs. Without getting into heavy detail, I see no problem in observing that African-Americans and peoples of African descent produce many great atheletes. theSAGE
Even Tiger is not 100% black. He is partially asian as well. Nobody knows which side has helpd him to become one of the best golfers. And it is noticed that there is no another great golfer now who is black.
