Hmmmm.... ok. I tried logging back in and it wouldn't let me. Could have been server. Actually, I have class in 10 minutes, so I can't, but otherwise I'd love to. By the way, Nuggets are gonna win. ------------------ Nuggets4 The Pinnacle - Rising to the Top With the Denver Nuggets http://www.NugsPinnacle.com
HaHa This thread is funny.Maybe some people around here will start to BELIEVE Clutch City IS BACK WAHOOO Damm Right it was a good day. ------------------

WW is averaging more points and more boards than Posey in about the same # of minutes. And BTW is 7th in the league in 3 point percentage. NVE is a pretty good PG, but no way I give him the advantage over Steve. For one, Nick shoots poorly for a guy who jacks up that many shots: 42% from the field? 72% from the line? Plus, he's a head case who's liable to blow at any point. Do you want that in your starting PG? Statistically Francis holds a big edge in rebounding and steals, boards, and free throw percentage. We agree at PF, SG and C. LaFrentz isn't bad but he has trouble vs the better centers. Plus his defense is poor. Keon's been stealing minutes from him, and rightly so. ------------------ I don't want to achieve immortality through my work... I want to achieve immortality by not dying. - Woody Allen
Done and done. Sounds like I missed a hell of a game at the end. Congrats on the win guys. One thing's for sure though, both the Nuggets and the Rockets are a lot better than many expected them to be. ------------------ Nuggets4 The Pinnacle - Rising to the Top With the Denver Nuggets http://www.NugsPinnacle.com
ZRB's prediction on McDyess' line was not too far off.....40 and 20 boards! YIKES! ------------------ There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness."
As we saw from last night's game, NVE is clearly better than Francis. 5 of 18 shooting, plus he turned the ball over in the closing seconds of regulation! I stand corrected. ------------------ I don't want to achieve immortality through my work... I want to achieve immortality by not dying. - Woody Allen
Me too. Although I am surprised that Antonio McDyess did THAT well. ------------------ 2000-2001 Rockets Game Formulas: End of 1st quarter: "They're playing so well!" 2nd: "What a great game!" 3rd: "Theres no way they can lose now!" 4th: "What the ******* **** happened?!!" Settle down there SamCassel - apologies if you took the head case comment as a "personal insult" - it certainly wasn't intended that, but when re-reading my post, maybe I should have phrased it better. I never referred directly to you in my thread - several posters had alluded to Francis being better than Van Exel, and I disagreed - I just chose to paraphrase you in my response. I will, however, attempt to give you an argument that is not "juvenile" and "piss poor". In the four (i could only remember two at the time of ym post) previous matchups that Houston and Denver had met, Van Exel had outplayed Francis in all but 1. Game 1: Van Exel 31p,4r,11a, Francis 22p,7r,7a Game 2: Van Exel 21p,7r,8a, Francis 27p,9r,10a Game 3: Van Exel 23p,1r,11a, Francis 0p,4r,4a Game4: Van Exel 27p,5r,11a, Francis 13p,8r,11a In head to head matchups(prior to last night), Van Exel has clearly been superior - that is what I base my argument on, and why I took exception to claims that Francis was better. I haven't been getting much sleep lately Sam - apologies for any abrasiveness. ------------------ Maybe all the rulers are wrong.
