Fresh Air is my favorite. Great interviews. I don't like listening to the radio, so I download the podcasts.

Guess not too many people listen to NPR, by far the best radio programs in the US.

I listen to NPR but I think you listed all of the ones I listen to with the exception of Radiolab. NPR also carries some really good PRI shows such as This American Life.

What? No This American Life. Quite possibly the best radio show ever in the TV era

Its not on NPR, but I've always liked listening to Coast to Coast AM. Always some crazies on that show talking (seriously) about begin abducted by Aliens, Government UFO cover-ups, Demon Dogs, etc.

They once interviewed a person who believed he was a time traveler from the future.

Its fun to listen to all the nutcases - always entertaining, no matter what the topic.

In Houston its on KTRH 740am.

When I used to ride the carpool/HOV to work downtown, this was the radio station I listened to the most, since a colleague always had it on it. I can't remember how many times I gave money and got the little member card (which I never used). Listener supported radio is always good.

Most of the ones you listed.

    Wait Wait Don't Tell Me

PS - Does anyone else really miss Paul Harvey and The Rest of the Story?

How much does NPR PBS get a year? How much do we give to oil companies, the farm subsidies? in 2010 CPB received 506 million, which is 00014 percent of the federal budget, ya that really hurt us.

Some of us actually write checks because we appreciate it a bit more. This is the kind of stuff to which I donate, aside from local and national charities for real causes, like what the station advocates: education and unbiased information.

You mentioned many of my favs except Planet Money, Science Friday, Radiolab, and TED Radio, and Talk of the Nation.

I either listen live on FM or download the podcasts which I'll listen to via USB in my car or at the gym.

The haughty NPR voice is a practiced art. Monotone and soft is essential for that intellectual affectation.

declaring oneself unbiased doesn't make it so

The opinion roundtable they do is comprised entirely of Obama supporters (EJ Dionne and David Brooks, oh and the host of course).

An excellent case for ending all corporate welfare, including CPB.

Not to delve too deep on this in the Hangout, but I agree.
