    You guys should be happy
lasy year I saw my beloved Rockets only 4 times ,and none of them were live.
that what u get when u live in Israel...
in the glory days (94',95') I saw Hakeem live so many times....in those "non playoff" days they just won't show the Rockets.
well at lease those days are over now !

First of all they changed over in Feb 99 and all of us old timers post count went back to 0.

Second, I think there will be a few more games on TV based on the way that they finished last year. Most were picking them to flop. The addition of the draftees does not hurt our chances of more TV time.

Third...don't trust "The League Pass" if you have Time Warner. I had it, and they had problems with the feed (Austin/Round Rock) for the entire first half of the season. Not to mention, they completely denied any record of me calling and them giving me a refund for half the season. They're a bunch of MF'ers! Of course...as the season comes around again, I'll probably sign up for it again.

Not to mention...how many times are we going to be subjected to the Nets vs Suns and Van/Mem vs Sac games becuase of the guard swaps. I just pray that Walton isn't given a mike anywhere.

Living in New York, I got the audio league pass. It's cheaper than the league pass, which would require me getting a satellite dish etc.

It's not as cool as watching on t.v. But I do get to hear sweet Gene Peterson! There is nothing like a complete homer announcer to get me into the games.

It's something like $24.95 for the whole year.

I knew i had a pretty pathetic situation here in Alabama, but I just realized it is the worst of all. I only saw 3 games (2 hawks games) and people in Israel saw more. How pathetic is that? I have too many damn trees around my house to get a dish and my digital cable company hasnt even heard of league pass. I declare Alabama the worst state in the country. I thought Mississippi was probably worse, but I was wrong.

I had that and i expected every Rockets game. I live in Hutto, right outside of Round Rock, right outside of Austin, and I missed some Rockets games. It was dissapointing. It is, however, better than any other alternative.

What games did you miss? I live in Dallas and the only game that I missed was a Dallas game in Dallas that was blacked out because the Damn Mavs did not sell out their game. There was another that I think was blacked out at Dallas but I was at that game so I didn't really care.

I'd love to get NBA League Pass, but the thing is that I have the DishNetwork and the stupid thing doesn't allow NBA League Pass, cuz of their deal with DirecTV.

But, I'm sure they're going to show some more Rockets game than last year. They had a good season-ending record and with all the Griffin hype ...

OH yeah ... the names did get re-registered in 99, I'm sure I only 4-5 posts upto that point too ... I read messages every hour I think, but don't usually say much [IMG]

I live in the same state and I think I only got to see them 4 times, although 2 were live. [IMG]

Go to Wal-Mart and spend 80 bucks for a Direct-TV set up. you already have all the cable set up. Just change the Dish (takes about five minutes) and the reciever (takes about 3 minutes) cancel Dish and Subscribe to DTV. When you Order the League Pass I think they throw in their premium service for the price of basic for about six months or at least they did last year. Their basic service runs a little more than 20 bucks. You have no excuse [IMG]

If you have Digital Cable, the League Pass has been free for the fist 2 weeks of the season (last two years).

I was just thinking ... I know, I do it sometimes, that now that the team has become so explosive in terms of talent, they recieved an A across the board on this years draft, a steal at #7 even, do you think we'll get to see the Rockets on TV more than last season. Last year we had one game all year, and we were pretty good near the end.

Do we see more Sunday NBC games now, or at least a few more TNT, TBS games? I can't get NBA League Pass, and it pisses me off that I can't see any of the big games ...

Just hoping we get more exposure [IMG]
