And maybe it'll spread to the media at large if we start using it here, which would be a pretty cool display of our influence. It's down to these two: 1. Novakaine 2. Supernova I was going to make more options, but I really wanted a mandate. This way we'll have a clear winner. I also clarified Supernova(K) to Supernova because that seemed like the consensus preferred selection. Novakaine sounds cool.. he'll comes in to ease the pain, maybe clutch situations or something or when were just down.. it makes sense
"Supernova" sounds like it has nothing to do with Novak... if it had a k at the end it would. Novakaine it is.
I like neither. But my problem with Novakaine is how you would pronouce this awkward word. I mean there are three syllables, where do you place the stress: the 1st, the middle, or the last?
Yeah, but I think Supernova makes a really cool nickname too because it's an explosion. So if Novak makes a bunch of shots, we can say he's gone Supernova, or that he's blown up. Either one is good though.
Supernova isn't too bad for now! If he is really that good in a couple of seasons we might need to change it to the Franchise.
Wow, I'm disappointed in the result of the vote. I thought The Natural would be a final choice. I think it rolls off the tongue the best and also actually makes sense without some silly explanation. I'm just going to exercise my right not to vote on the two lame final choices
I don't like either of them. Just keep it simple and vote for: Steve "4-3" Novak ^It would work a lot better if 43 was his number.
How about.. "Tre-vak your in Jeopardy" And everytime he swishes one they could play that little time diddy from Jeopardy.
I think this nickname will be great for chants NOV-A-KAINE NOV-A-KAINE Or when the announcer rips into it with his growl NOVAKAAAAAAAAAINE for ThrEEEEEEEEE!
Yeah if my Tre-Vak doesn't win I hope Steve 43 gets it. By far the second best after Tre-Vak of course.
