Kinda creepy story from Hoopstv.com: The David Stern Mafia is at it again. In the same week his NBA family ordered Spree to stop talkin’ to the press about his boy C-Webb coming to the Knicks for fear of “tampering” with Webber’s free agency, he’s cracking down on the Rockets - for their wristbands. The League has sent word that the wristbands worn by Cuttino Mobley and Steve Francis are in violation of League uniform standards. Francis wears one that has Cuttino's nickname “Cat” inscribed on it. Cat in turn wears one that says “Wink” for Stevie. "They're going to fine me," Mobley said. "I don't care. They're being petty. That's me representing Steve and Steve representing me." Don't worry Dave, there's no truth to the rumor that Cuttino was spotted wearing Steve’s varsity jacket, or the report that Rudy T caught Steve daydreaming and doodling Cat’s name on his notebook during a team meeting… ------------------
