It's time for this show to hang up the scalpels. No matter how wacky this show got, it's still one of my favorite shows. It premieres tonight at 9pm on FX. Hopefully, it'll go out with a bang (no pun intended).
stopped watching during season 3. We (kids in my dorm) made a decision that if the next episode was as ridiculous as the last that we would stop watching. The next episode was a flashforward where everyone was 30 years older with cheesy makeup and unconvincing gray hair. So stupid it wasn't even worth dissection. edit: almost forgot when julia cheats on her husband with a guy that is about a foot short of being able to ride on a rollercoaster. riiiiight.
yeah, it sucks. Love the show and the closest I'm ever get to watching a soap Oprah. Looking forward to tonight.
this show jumped the shark a long time ago. that said...i still watch it cause i'm hooked. it's never been a show about realism in any facet anyway. it's just silly entertainment that doesn't take itself seriously. now, if the show was trying to be something it isn't, then i would have flown the coop a while ago. as it stands, i get to turn my brain off for an hour and delight in the absurd.
Used to LOVE nip/tuck...especially the Carver season. Made it one season after that, but then it just got a bit boring to me. However, as far as television trash goes, nip/tuck was a treasure
Didn't watch season 5, aside from a couple of episodes. No plans on watching this show die for now. Maybe I'll pick season 5 & 6 on DVD down the road, just to complete the series.
Really liked the show but only watched until the Carver season. Not sure what season that was. So I have no idea if it's still good or jumped the shark.
Yeah, not bad at all... they replaced Teddy character with Rose McGowen. I was surprised that I didn't see Mr. Troy's butt in this episode.
Rose McGowan is an upgrade in my opinion. I know the Galactica fans dig Katie Sakhoff (sp?), but she never did much for me. I liked all the premiere except the Matt as a mime thing. Pretty awful...
They have struggled ALONG TIME with what the h*ll to do with Matt. at least the little sister just stays out of site but Matt has been through about everything. the chick from Galactica just has that Skank look about her. Not someone that I would dig .. but she just gives all the nerd boys the feeling that . . . .. they have a shot Rocket River
or a Tranny Chaser and eventual Tranny Beater . . .and later Tranny Beat-down victim [and got peed on!] Rocket River
It was a long time ago when the show first came on, but didn't he try to give himself a circumsicion (sp?) once as well? Oy...
