Just wanted to throw out there the rumor that I'm hearing from a few different people about it. They say they hear that it will have a number of "gyros (not the food item)" in it that will force you to actually move the entire controller to control the game. Meaning that if you are in a FPS-type game, and you are running around a corner to the right, you would crank the entire controller - not just the joystick - right. It's also supposed to have some more powerful enhance feedback that will move - not just vibrate - the controller if something happens to you in the game. Again, just the latest rumor I've heard... I guess I could see how that would enhance the gaming experience, but it doesn't sound that revolutionary to me.
I've been doing this since intellivision. However, it had no effect other than to make me look like an idiot. Glad to see I was ahead of my time. but I thought it was only PS and x-box now. What is nintendo trying to do, make it worse for parents.
sounds stupid. don't they already have something like this for gameboy? Only way I'd buy a revolution is if you could connect it to your DS. That would rule!
LMAO!!! i always laughed at people who would move their controller with their character. i guess i'm secretly laughing at you right now.
I don't care about the rumors anymore. I'm just happy that I'll be done with them by the end of the night, and hopefully, I'll see a good controller in the process. The best thing about the rumors are the funny owl pics that were created because of them. Those things are hilarious...although I don't know if anyone here knows what I'm talking about.
LOL Rc Cola I think what A-Train was talking about was something like this: From this: - 16-bit, to this - snes, to this - 64, to this - GameCube To...?
Iwata speaking about Revolution controller Iwata unveils Revolution controller IGN will post high-resolution pictures, hands on impressions, feature breakdowns, roundtables, and more at 7:50 PM -- fewer than 15 minutes. Revolution controller looks like futuristic television remote. Glossy white design. Looks Apple iPod inspired. Controller is held in one hand. Attachments in the other. Attachments connect to the bottom of the controller. Iwata shows analog stick attachment. Thinking about packing Revolution with the main controller and attachment, Iwata says. Controller acts like a mouse in real-space 3D. Pefect for FPS games! Future attachments planned.

I like it. It seems like the B button is kind of far from where your thumb would be though, and it sucks that the accesory is attached via wire. But I like the fact that Nintendo is trying something new to try and make games more interesting. Something I just thought of, I wonder if for the NES games if they'll expect you to hold the controller sideways and use the two buttons at the bottom as the A and B buttons from the NES controller? Just saw a bigger picture of it. Why would they have A, B, a, and b buttons? Why not have A, B, X, and Y? Now trying to explain controls to somebody is going to be a pain. Person 1: Press the "A" button. Person 2: It's not working. Person 1: No, no, the upper case "A".
