From http://www.sportingnews.com/nba/teams/rockets/ :
You never know how things will work out, but it would be nice to see Pig Miller come back to the Rockets. In a world that seems to be more and more populated with pampered idiots, a guy like Miller stands out because of his understanding of just how fortunate he is to be making the living he does. Miller averaged only 3.7 points, but it was his 4.7 rebounds (in just 13.6 minutes a game) that really stood out. Consider that Kelvin Cato averaged just six per game in 24.3 minutes and Hakeem Olajuwon 6.2 in 23.8 minutes to get a clear perspective on how hard Miller worked in the trenches. Miller showed a glimpse of what he could do when he started and finished with 19 points and 12 rebounds in a five-point loss to Golden State on Jan. 27. He outdueled Jason Caffey, who had 19 points and six boards in the game. It was Miller's only double-figure game of the season, but that's to be expected. Miller is simply there to work, and he does that. With the Rockets woefully low on big bodies, Miller was more than happy to go in and lean on guys like Shaquille O'Neal, David Robinson, Dikembe Mutombo, Elden Campbell and Alonzo Mourning. "That's my job,'' Miller said. "I understand that I have a role here. Somebody has to do the dirty work, and I don't mind that at all."
The article also mentions some Arena details and the Croshere visit. ------------------
If you play basketball with a toothpick in your mouth, you can play on my team anyday. ------------------ Doink!
Croshere and Pig hustling on the court to gether CLUTCH could be Mashed with Courage . . and Championship could come soon Rocket River ------------------
Nothing against Pig. Nothing at, oink, all. I mean anyone who hustles, oink, has a role. If Earl Cureton can play minutes in the finals, oink oink, then so can Piggy. I'm here to win a title. Whoever wants to go for the ride can join in. Pigs included, but he'd better be prepare to ride the trough for most of the journey. oink. oink. ------------------ humble, but hungry.
Hey, he isn't too bad at running the floor with our "kids" either! I can honestly say I was thrilled when he was signed last year and hope he is a member of the Rockets this season too! ------------------ "I've been licking this carpet for hours and I still don't feel like a lesbian!"
Yea I luv Pig. I really hope he's back hustling his ass off next season. ------------------ treasurer of the moochie norris fan club
