He's going to get another shot, all it took was 0-4 start, while being down by 24 points in the 4th Quarter facing 5th consecutive loss.
I have never seen a team fall off as bad as the Titans have this season. I remember hearing a lot of Titans fans saying they wouldn't miss Haynesworth this season.
I saw a 12-4 Oilers team go to 2-14.... and with fans saying they wouldn't miss Warren Moon. Funny how franchises are just prone to repeat their history over and over again...
He's got plenty to lose. If he embarasses himself, or has a nervous breakdown, or looks lost... he could potentially get cut this off-season with his salary starting to go up big-time next year.
Word I benched him for Fred Jackson. I won't do that again. I only benched Benson because they were playing the Ravens.
lol that is funny. I still can't see why they fell off that bad on defense even with Haynesworth being gone.
I watched this game at the bar and I can't for the life of me figure out why Dre Bly decided to start high stepping at the 50 yd line down by 20 something points. I know Mike Singletary ripped a new one in him. Good win today by Atlanta coming off the bye week. Matt Ryan just keeps proving that he is going to be an elite QB. And to think most of the Falcon fans did not want us to draft him.
Be honest at least, Peyton. It was totally on your mind. He could barely answer that question with a straight face. Stuttered his way through the response.
The Titans fans who said that were ignorant. For sure Haynesworth isn't worth what the Redskins paid him, but to say a defense wouldn't miss an impact player like that is insane. Because of Haynesworth leaving and expecting a big drop-off from Kerry Collins, I figured the Titans were due for a big letdown. But not an 0-5 kind of letdown. The Titans figure to lose next Sunday at New England and could enter their bye week 0-6. Ouch!
No kidding. He always comes off as a space cadet to me, almost as if he's on some kind of hallucinogen.
