Agreed 100%. It's very possible he'll end up being better than Matt Ryan. As for today: yeah, that had to be a frustrating game for a Baltimore fan. He played very well against relentless blitz packages, and as you pointed out, made all the throws needed for his team to win the game. It's a shame his WR's couldn't catch a cold.
I quit. I give up. I cannot believe I paid money to watch that hilarious attempt at football. I'll think about being a Raiders fan again after Al Davis dies of 17 stab wounds in the back.
When it seems like you a struggling football franchise or a team that just can't seem to win. Think about.
Let's not go too far yet... at least let us get half way through the season with a winning record! When you are a Bengals fan you learn to temper your enthusiasm, because if something can go wrong, it will go wrong!
Haven't watched much other than the Texans/Cowboys... through ~4 weeks, is there a rookie playing better than Brian Cushing?
The Titans may be 0-6... the Colts and Patriots are both vastly superior teams... the door would be wide open for the Texans... that loss the Jags is going to STING come December.
I'm not a UT fan (I go to a school that hates UT as much as any) and I've never been a huge VY fan...But the way TN handled their QB situation is silly. VY did well his rookie year, gets hurt, they put in Collins and they win games due to their GREAT DEFENSE, they bench VY for Kerry Collins. Kerry Collins had very little to do with their wins last year. I'm not saying VY would have been better than Collins, but he could have taken them just as far in the playoffs. Now, you've destroyed a guy that the franchise has invested a top 5 draft pick and millions of dollars for a guy that had no chance of winning a super bowl for your team. Don't get me wrong, VY could still end up sucking, but it was not worth sitting him on the bench for Kerry frickin' Collins. The Titans suck now because some of their best defensive players left and they have nothing to look forward to with an old man as their QB.
