Has anyone seen what Ronnie Brown is doing to the Patriots?? 17 rushes, 113 yards 4 TDs 1-1 passing, 19 yard TD Of course, I didn't start him this week.
I don't think 70% of Brown owners started him this week unless they were truly depserate. I know I sat him in 2 leagues. Just happy to see him back in full swing though....
I have Ronnie and didn't start him either and it's looking like I really could've used him 4 rushing TD's and 1 passing TD sounds like one of LT's best games.
My Eagles won an absolute slugfest against the Steelers but the cost for that win may be high as both Westbrook and McNabb are hurting. Bears up next on Sunday Night Football!
Exciting 4th quarter in the Jags vs. Colts game, although there was some questionable play-calling by the Colts offensive coordinator and Dunge. They should have ran running plays in the last 1:30 when they were at 1st and goal (about 3 yards away from the endzone). They left the Jags with a great opportunity to storm back and kick a game-winning field goal, 1:07 and 3 timeouts remaining. P.S. Who do you guys root for after the Texans, if you even have the courage to say you're a Texans fan? For me, it's the Colts, because I love Peyton Manning.
The only thing that really caught my eye was Brian Griese throwing 67 passes. Jesus Christ that's a lot of passing, lol.
Ben Rothlisberger was a punching bag for the Eagles. He was abused the entire game. Watching the Eagles batter him around and play smashmouth with the Steelers just reinforces how bad the Texans are. I wish the Dolphins/Pats game was on TV in Houston. That would have been beautiful to watch. I didn't know who to root for in the Colts/Jags game. That drive and FG may have saved the Jags' season. I'm ready to say now the Colts are not Super Bowl contenders. Something told me before the season they would drop off and, at best, make the playoffs as a wild card. LanLan, I'm sorry but your Chiefs are the worst team in the NFL, even worse than the Lions & Rams.
benched Brown too, but I had LenDale White starting over him so not bad at all...Westbrook was my other RB
Seriously ... Miami putting out some funky formations out there. What is this, college football? Lining up Pennington at wideout and Ronnie Brown at QB, and running draw plays...
They basically did what Arkansas did to LSU last season to beat them... lined McFadden up in the shotgun with Felix Jones and let him hand off or run draws and the occasional pass. It worked.
I saw that in several fantasy leagues. The three I am in and 4 of my friends are in their own. Every team that had Brown did not play him.
Benched Brown also. Got him in the 13th round though, so I'm pretty happy to see him return to last year's form. However, it seemed like most of his damage came off of gimmick plays. Is this sustainable at all?
It wouldn't have been so bad for me benching Brown if freaking Westbrook would produce now he is banged up my #1 pick too my season is on life support.
