Did Rodgers just tell Chicago to suck it or that he is going after the belt?

Packers let this one get away. I still pick them to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl.

Week 3 is officially over. Best team so far have been the steelers while the Browns have been the worst.

nobody would have guessed the steelers, chiefs, and bears would be the 3 teams without a loss after week 3.

    right?

I saw that Rex Ryan challenged a no call that there were 12 men on the field before the ball was snapped. Can't the Texans have challenged that there was a delay of game call on the FG before the half was over?

Thus far two QB's I do not trust and routinely criticize are playing out of their minds: Cutler and Vick. It will be interesting to see how the rest of the season plays out.

On a more relevant note: one of the only QB's I do trust is still on the sidelines and his team is 3-0 without him. If my boys make it past Baltimore to pull to 4-0 without him -- God help the rest of the league when he returns! :)

I think it's because the cowboys kick ended at the half, while in the monday night game, the play started before the two minute warning so coaches can still challenge.

Maybe but not at the expense of more injuries. Mind you this is before the lockout will occur so this just means more leverage for the playoffs.

NFLPA still needs to approve. That article is ridiculous however, posing that the worst issue is that rookies and scrubs lose preseason time to develop.

"And another problem is injuries and rosters" thrown in there like it's nothing.

You can't challenge delay of games regardless. The Titans lost to the Ravens in the playoffs two years ago on a missed delay of game call.

The NFL replay system currently only covers the following situations:
    Scoring plays
    Pass complete/incomplete/intercepted
    Runner/receiver out of bounds
Recovery of a loose ball in or out of bounds
Touching of a forward pass, either by an ineligible receiver or a defensive player
    Quarterback pass or fumble
    Illegal forward pass
    Forward or backward pass
Runner ruled not down by contact
Forward progress in regard to a first down
    Touching of a kick
Other plays involving placement of the football
Whether a legal number of players is on the field at the time of the snap

Injuries happen in the meaningless preseason games too.
