Whats up with SD? I haven't seen them play in awhile. Is it coming together? What is LT up to? I haven't heard Sproles' name in weeks.

Chargers in December has been almost a sure thing. I think they said in the sunday nighter that they're like 11-1 in the last 3 years, opposed to the Cowboys who have been under .500 for December.

Actually, it is better than that. San Diego has won 15 consecutive games in December. It's the longest winning streak for the month on record.

Here is something interesting about an 11-1 record:

Under Lovie Smith the Bears are 11-1 at home during the month of December when the temperature is below 40 degrees.

Do you know the team that gave them the one loss?

    The Texans!

the super bowl curse was on the team that lost that game, not the one that won it.

Sproles scored a receiving TD last week.

LT hasn't been racking up yardage but he has gotten into the endzone, which is always a good thing.

Gates has been carrying the load for the past 2 weeks. He has caught 15 passes for 285 yards and two touchdowns in the last two games.

    Rivers is 14-0 in Dec.

Shawne Merriman sat out last game (most likely rest) but he will play for the Dallas matchup tomorrow. That he is 100% though, I doubt.

Vincent Jackson has been very quiet since he scored the game-winner against the Giants. He's due for a huge game. Newman is like 5'11 and that is a big problem for the Cowboys.

Vincent Jackson has been the reason Gates has had huge games the past 2 weeks.

I've been looking forward to this game all week.

It's on TV here, so I'm nervous like a mofo.

I know it's early, but the Bengals O looks terrible.

penalties, no protection, no run blocking...

Yeah, thanks for the reminder. In fact, today we cut our asstastic closer because we couldn't afford to keep him.

    How's that saying go?

Always look on the bright side of life....

Wow, the bengals look awful...I hope this is a wake-up call of sorts to play more disciplined.

And I don't like our chances with Duke and Nelson as the starting safeties for the rest of the year.
