Wow the Pats actually got screwed on a call. Overruled a 2 point conversion that would've made it a 7 point game. He may have not gotten it but I don't think there was enough evidence to overturn that... Damn SMH of course Fitzpatrick has the game ending turnover.
Wow, just wow. Broncos were stopped at least a good foot short of the first down, yet were given it without question by the refs.
It wasn't even close to a first down, I just don't get it, the refs are directly responsible for 7 of Denver's points.
The Titans mind f'd the bears today using air to stop them at the goal line. It's getting so much tighter.
First time I've seen Cairo Santos even come close to missing a FG. He's the Steph Curry of kickers. Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good.
if kubiak was going to kick a 62 yard field goal, he should have run the previous 2 plays and just picked up whatever he could while running down the clock (and i thought that before 2nd and 3rd down so it's not hindsight). run the clock out and kick it from 60 or punt if you run the plays that they ran and still have 1:13 to go. amazing that the chiefs odds of winning the game actually increased by letting denver into field goal range because otherwise denver just punts and the chiefs settle for a tie.
Perhaps. But with one timeout and a gassed defense (on both sides), I figured KC was going to be able to move the ball into at least FG range, let alone score a TD, regardless of starting field position. Denver couldn't handle their receivers as the game went on. That was probably weighing more on Kubiak in making that decision. At any point, if they were giving the ball back to KC in a tied game, it wasn't looking good.
Titans cut Cox today after the debacle with the Bears. No more easy TD passes for the Texans or the AFC South.
