That is some serious tackling failure. 4 Eagles had the guy wrapped up.

The only positive thing I can say about Cutler so far is that he's barely managed not to throw any interceptions.

I'm guessing that won't last long though.

Well, Cutler and the Bears offense finally looked good on that drive.

Yeah he finally hit an open receiver.

    What is that 1/3?

Shoot, he's missed about 7 wide open receivers tonight.

Right after that good drive, he completely failed to hit an open receiver on 3rd down. He's overthrown the ball about 5 times in this game.

If the Bears win, it has everything to do with their defense and the Eagles' failures.

Cutler has been bad and the playcalling seems pretty suspect. Other than 1 huge run, their rushing game has been as bad as their passing game.

Yeah I only saw I the two Olsen ones and the Hester one. I have the game on but I have to do some work so I haven't been paying too much attention to it.

Cutler needs to step up here. He owes it to his defense after they've given him so many opportunities.

My guess is he'll throw an INT. He's been lucky to not have one by now with all the bad throws, including quite a few into heavy coverage.

Cutler overthrows another wide open receiver.

    Unbelievable.

Man, Cutler has done terribly tonight! So many chances to make some big plays, but the dude just screws it up. It's gotten aggravating watching him play, and I don't even get emotionally involved when watching a team other than the Texans.

    ANOTHER overthrow by Cutler.

This loss will be on him as much as anybody else. He's had an insane number of opportunities to make things happen. From turnovers forced by his defense to good field position to wide open receivers...

The playcalling has been questionable at times but it's on him. His numbers don't come close to reflecting how many times he's failed tonight. Like Dungy said at halftime, he looks scared and not focused.

Given how many times they've gotten receivers wide open for TDs, I don't know that the playcalling can be blamed at all today, unless we argue that they need to be calling shorter plays because their QB has no accuracy.

    Cutler is terrible.

Dear mcnabb, I need another TD for DeSean. Maybe one for Celek.
    Thanks, Rokkit

So are Texans in 6th with a win tomorow or does Denver or PIT keep it?

It just seemed like they rushed the ball at the wrong time on several occasions, particularly in the 1st half. Other than that 1 huge play, they've been getting stuffed repeatedly. They were talking about how the Bears' coach demanded more rushes to open things up but it still seemed like they were wasting downs. I'm probably wrong.

Either way, Cutler has been awful and should take the blame if they lose.

    Cassel > Cutler

Josh McDaniels had it right all along

I've never understood why announcers seem to be so stupid with regards to use of timeouts. Here, they are arguing that the Bears should have not used it before 1st down and waited until after the next down. At the end of the day, the most you can save using a TO is about 40 seconds. It doesn't matter when you use them, as long as you use them when you can save the max time possible. Realistically, you should use as soon as a 40-second save presents itself, because a later play might not need a TO for whatever reason (turnover, incomplete pass, running out of bounds, flag, etc).

That stop on 3rd down for the Bears would've been a lot more exciting if I had any reason to believe that Cutler would actually do something with his team's final possession--but I don't, so it wasn't.
