if the punting team touches the ball first, the receiving team can then touch the ball and no matter what happens, at worst you get the ball back where the punting team originally touched it. if you happen to pick it up and return it for a TD, it's a TD. if you return it and fumble and the punting team picks it up, you still get the ball where the punting team touched it. so that's why sometimes you'll see a guy try to do something like swat at it. i think if he swatted it into the endzone, it would've been a touchback.
cowboys defense sucked on that drive. that is why I hate the stupid prevent defense. all it does is "prevent" you from making any plays.
Yeah,it's pretty weird for me to be rooting for Dallas.I really thought their defense would control this game though. I could have done without that last Giants TD. Thanks for the support MM. Still a fun weekend. The spread on the New England - Chargers game is opening at 14....Remember the Chargers had the Pats beaten at home until they pulled it out of their behinds.SD will probably be able to run the ball on NE and has a very good defense.Another thing is that their offensive line wears teams down so that IF it's close it's anyone's game.I know these guys are banged up but watch their status throughout the week. The spread is opening at 14 and not something like 17 - 21 for a reason.
No, it's just the head coach. He made it too easy on the Cowboys defense and it might cost them the game.
and still after over a decade, the Cowboys will have the same number of playoff wins as the Texans. bawawawuuwauuawwa.
Dallas didn't make the plays that it should have. Too many penalties and dropped passes. Simply gave the game away.
Dallas just broke the NFC record!!! First #1 seed to lose in the first game. (previously 17-0 for the NFC)
