I like speculating about next years FA class and wondering what moves we plan on making?

If we get lucky I see this..

    ADaniels / NVE
    Tmac / Sura / JJackson
    Boki / JJackson
    SSwift / MoT
    Yao / JJames

Seattle is going to need a low post player at some point .. shooting is streaky and when they start getting outrebounded and decide they need a low post scorer hopefully we can swing a deal to move JHoward/CWard for ADaniels/JJames.

NVE I think is an UFA and hopefully will take a hometown discount to come back to TX. I doubt he is starting material but could be excellent off the bench and brings an attitude we are sorely lacking.

JJackson is getting too old to hold onto that spot and im still hoping Boki outplays JJackson to take that starting spot.

SSwift is an UFA and could go any place he chooses im just hoping we can convince him to sign with us. Swift can be replaced with any serviceable PF..

1 - 3 can shoot the three which should help space the floor better and give our guys more room to operate.

who do you think we can get realistically for next year to plug holes in our roster?

    Hell NO!

Daniels is not as good. People are overrating him because he is having a good stretch of games.

Swift would be a tremendous addition. He is young and athletic. He can also block shots and grab some boards.

James is garbage. He is a less talented version of Cato.

One last thing, Next season's roster better not include Yao. They have to trade him before the rest of the league realizes what TMac is realizing now, that he sucks.

We don't have the cap room to sign Stro Swift.
And no one wants Juwan Howard the way he's playing right now - Ward neither.

I'd be happy with that line-up but I don't see anyone wanted Howard after seeing him play this season so far. So yeah if we're lucky...

I'd sure love to know how we could pull off signing both Swift AND Van Exel.

He perrenially finishes as one of the best in the NBA in terms of assist to turnover ration. He is an attacker and a descent shooter.

    Now that is funny, Nostradamus.

How do you plan on getting rid of Ward/Howard/Spoon/Taylor, they are all under contract and there will most likely not be any takers.

And you can forget about signing AD/NVE/Swift, we only have the MLE to work with, we can only hope for a sign and trade, and like I said, I doubt any teams want anything we have.

Also, if JVG is still here, then you can say bye bye to Boki.

we are in early december, aside from not giving up on the current season, i thinkit's really hard to be specific about we the rockets could do before the trade deadline and then in the next offseason. Obviously we need to add a rebounding/defending PF and try to upgrade our PG position and then if possible add another outside shooter.

    but right lets Go Rockets

Um, the Kings don't want to trade Bobby Jackson.
And Spoon is Kenny Thomas - they're the same kind of player.

Orlando has basically said they are going to do anything to keep him. Even if they don't, he's not coming back, he was pretty pissed about the whole thing.

He's suggesting we sign Bobby Jackson with the MLE, not trade for him.

And Kenny Thomas had 20 pts and 17 rebounds yesterday. None of our PF's have come even remotely close to that kind of production all year, let alone Spoon--the guy that doesn't even play. If Spoon could give us that kind of production....WOW! We don't have a PF problem anymore! If only you weren't insanely incorrect in your comparison of the two.

Mobley and Swift would be great. Somehow get rid of Mo for expiring contract..lol that trade exception went bye bye. gle nrice went bye bye. terence morris ewnt bye bye. juaquin hawkins..okay i'll shut up.

Mobley, Swift, Chandler, Brown all sound fine to me. Better than Mo or JJ or Howard at this point..
